Loving Hut

(11 Reyes St. Underground: Plaza de España). Near Plaza de España is the first vegan restaurant in town belonging to the chain «Loving Hut». Priced food, oriental style with dishes of Spanish cuisine. Closed Sunday night and all day Monday.

Crucina

(30 Divino Pastor St. Underground: Tribunal, Noviciado or San Bernardo). It’s the first raw and vegan restaurant in Madrid. Organic food, gluten-free, soy-free and seitan-free. Clients include some Hollywood stars. Expensive, starting at about 30 euros. Closed on Sunday night.

B13 Bar-Restaurante

(13 Ballesta St. Underground: Gran Vía). Casual cuisine with appetizers, burgers, hot dogs, omelettes and desserts. A typical Spanish bar. Cheap. Closed on Monday.

Vega

(9 Luna St. Underground: Noviciado). Commitment to ecological and local produce to create attractive dishes. Cheap. Open seven days a week.

Punto vegano

(27 Luisa Fernanda St. Underground: Plaza de España). Next to the beautiful templo de Debod, the food is simple but tasty with platters, burgers, hot dogs, salads and desserts. Its specialty: ravioli. Hours vary seasonally.

Magus CLOSED

(19 Conde Duque St. Underground: Plaza de España). Near Cuartel del Conde Duque, in this small, and mainly, takeaway you can eat and drink nutritious juices. Ecological products without refined sugars. Closed on Sunday.

EcoMadrid La Huerta de la Salud CLOSED

(55 San Bernardo St. Underground: Noviciado). Serving breakfast, it’s offered daily menu, take-away, an area to buy fruits and vegetables and herbalist. At the bottom there are places to eat and a conference room. Closed on Sunday.

Botanique CLOSED for the opening of a new restaurant called Pizzi Dixie in Malasaña

(5 Santa Isabel St. Underground: Antón Martín). Located inside Antón Martín market, main floor and 36 stall, it offers exquisite raw and vegan food with imaginative and innovative creations. Excellent Value. Closed Sunday and bank holidays.

Rayén Vegano CLOSED

(7 Lope de Vega St. Underground: Antón Martín). Next to Convento de las Trinitarias Descalzas de San Ildefonso, this small restaurant offers vegan, healthy and homemade food. Reservations recommended. Not expensive. Closed all day Tuesday and Wednesday, and Monday, Thursday and Sunday night.

La Latina

Viva Burger

(16 Costanilla de San Andrés. Underground: La Latina). Specializing in burgers. You can also get appetizers, salads, wraps, desserts and gluten-free dishes. A little pricey for this type of food. Open seven days a week.

Lavapiés

La oveja negra

(42 Buenavista St. Underground: Lavapiés). Vegan tavern serving casual food. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, hummus or desserts. Cheap. Closed Sundays at night and all day Monday.

Chamberí

Bicocina Organic Closed

(Alburquerque, 5 St. Underground: Quevedo or Bilbao). It serves vegan, organic, holistic and macrobiotic cuisine. They also organize cooking workshops. Open daily for lunch and Saturday also at dinner time.

(21 San Vicente Ferrer St. Underground: Tribunal or Noviciado) Ideal to stock up on provisions in the area of Malasaña. Most of its products are environmentally friendly. Commitment to local and artisan. It has a bakery service. Also t-shirts, books or accessories. Closed Saturday evening, all day Sunday and lunch break.

Planeta vegano

(34 Ave María St. Underground: Lavapiés). Food, cosmetics, cleaning and herbal products, books, t-shirts… this vegan store is the oldest in Madrid and has a wide selection of diverse items. Closed on Sunday.

(23 Pico de artillero St. Underground: Artilleros). In the district of Moratalaz offers a wide selection of vegan products -food, books, accessories… Closed on Sunday and lunch break.

Mi cabra vegana

(4 Reverencia Sq. Underground: Pueblo Nuevo). In the district of Pueblo Nuevo, it has a wide selection of food products, cosmetics and books. Commitment to veganism, bulk purchase and local commerce. Closed Sunday and Monday and lunch break.

Mamá Kokore

(Germán Pérez Carrasco, 48 St. Underground: Pueblo Nuevo). Vegan bakery that makes its products gluten-free and organic ingredients. Also you can buy vegetables, cereals, flours and pastas. They also organize cooking classes and lectures. Closed Saturday evening, all day Sunday and lunch break.

(111 Menendez Pelayo Avenue. Stalk 0. Underground: Menéndez Pelayo). Since February 2015 this vegan and organic food stall is found in a shopping arcade.
